You, a normal wolf, happen to stumble across this land and discover it's oddities. You may request to stay here, and if you are accepted, the lands will then decide your fate as far as an element.
If you do not receive an element, stay a simple wolf, you have the choice of trying to join the Zailum or Tanirah Pack depending on your views. If instead the lands "bless" you with an element (completely random), you may then make an effort to join the Tanirah or Izaldi Pack.
If, however, you are against elementals but become one, you may still try to join the Zailum Pack. The Keeper, Arivia, will give you a task to complete which will take the element away shoud you complete it. In the same way, any wolf that is not given an element can still try to gain one, but they have to seek the Izaldi Keeper, Migori, to do so.
xx season: spring
Ah yes, Spring. the time of year when everything starts anew. All seem to welcome the warmer, brighter change of scenery, each in their own way. Flowers bloom brightly in response to the sun's gentle rays, and creatures of the day and night all sing a various array of songs in undeniable approval. And of course, the wolves celebrate the litters of pups joining in their ranks while a sense of closeness washes over and ties them together once more. The hardships of the colder months have come to an end---all is well for the wolves again.
xx. season info: temperature- mild temperatures. around 62 degrees or so during the day hours. night time temperatures drop to around 43.
forecast- sunshine most of the time, light showers mix in every so often.
prey- easy to catch this time of year as they are just waking up from a long winter's slumber. be careful not to overhunt!
breeding- yes
birthing- yes
6.20.09
Is it the 20th? >.< Mmmmkay. Trexi is now hopefully able to help me with applications. I'm going to be going through all the threads today to see if there's any updating I can do to info threads, any threads that need to be moved around, and boards that I need to add or edit, and generally make sure I feel sane about the organization of everything. Probably updating the Freewebs page with some player and element info. Yeah. Let's hope it all goes smoothly.

-tentatively raises hand- Erm... I'm here I just... fail... I owe Trex my life for sending me an e-mail. It's like "wake up Wolfyyy". I feel like taking the site in a direction I don't know exists. I do that a lot.

5.2.09
The Wolfeh has been suffering a week of curses. I feel they're at an end, for now, but we'll see. People like ruining my life.
Anywho... I'm not dead. Bumping the ad, just not roleplaying myself. Glad people are around. I'll be taking care of the Tanirah Alpha somehow very soon.
I feel I won't be bothering with an activity check until the end of the month, if at all. And Awards, probably just carrying over last months since we haven't gotten many new additions. June will be the end of school, start of summer, and hopefully a resting period for chaos.
Um, yeah. That's about all for now.

4.8.09
A new month. Lovely ^^ as you'll notice, the "pack updates" has been taken out, simply because they weren't being used and it was doubtful they would be. The pack page is enough info?
In this new month, our first activity check has come and gone. If you were deleted, and come back to see that you were, you can re-register and come back if you promise me to be active. Profiles will be held in the archives to be restored for a bit. We also have our first awards voting, so get to it!
That is all.

HOKAY! New system on getting elements is in place. There is an actual announcements board now since here is so small. More info is in said board. Am still updating new members onto freewebs, but their tags and colors should be okay. Let me know if not. Also, a new PLAYERS/MEMBERS list. The name we can call you by OOC, what wolves you play, and some other tidbits. I put a few up, go check it out. PM complaints about your colors XD or info I can update/add you in.

I think there may have been some unnoticed confusion about the "unclaimed lands". really, I should have labeled that board and the map as "neutral". They weren't really meant to be up for claiming, although I probably should create some places that are. So, that has been changed.
Also, I've been thinking about in addition to pack/gender tags, there should be element ones as well. Agree? Let me know. I'll probably start implementing them anyway since I have them made XD

3.13.09
Bwahahaha. Friday the 13th! Not really to many updates, except that I will cycle through colors as far as when I do update, so that it's a tad more obvious something new has been written hopefully. We have some members, I'm advertising in various places and will put links to them I suppose so others can come bump if they so wish. Um... St. Patricks Day is coming up and then my birthday! Thought I'd share that. Keep up the roleplaying!

I T x B E G I N S
with a small family of wolves. Their kind and welcoming ways led them to accept many wandering wolves to live with them, rapidly turning their tight knit group into a large mass of wolves. They made up the Tanirah Pack. In time it was discovered that a few of the once rogue wolves had powers. Elements.
Soon, wolves that had been born completely normal found themselves with these powers as well. Panic spread. Had these strange abilities really followed some rogue wolves and somehow spread to others? Or was there something special about the lands that were only now showing up? It was never quite certain. And it was never quite accepted. Wolves that showed signs of having an element were quickly attacked: run off the lands or killed. Even the beta male Kemis was exiled, the very last to leave. With the elementals purged from the pack, a prophecy stirred up. Elementals would at some point come again, creating another era of pandemonium. This age would be signaled by the birth of a pup with an unusual "deformation". Of course the idea of this was pushed out of the packs minds as best as it could be.
A period of normality set in once more, and lasted a long while. A different set of alphas, Akara and Kiran, were in command. The birth of their first litter brought about excitement, but also the prophecy at work. It wasn't obvious at first. As the pups grew, it was apparent that the male Argon was larger than his sisters, Migori and Delani. It was also apparent that something strange was growing on Migori's back as she did. The growth formed into wings, and the pack realized that the prophecy really might be true.
They held their breath as the pups continued getting older. When Migori showed signs of having control over water, alarm shook the pack once more. Most wanted to kill her, regardless of her being the alphas daughter, but Akara defended her children like a mother should, and nothing changed. That is until a male, Arivia, attacked Migori. With this fight, the pack was split in three. Migori fled from Tanirah, and over time formed the Izaldi Pack, a home to the many elementals that would sprout up. Arivia was banished, and those who despised the thought of elemental wolves existing, followed him, creating the Zailum Pack. The Tanirah Pack became a pack of neutrality, homing wolves of elemental and non: those who didn't wish to be caught up in a feud and could tolerate each other. Those that found they had control over an element would have the choice of staying there or turning to the Izaldi Pack to defend the right of an elementals life. Normal wolves had the same choice of staying, or joining Arivia in the Zailum Pack.
Things have stayed this way now. Over time, the wolves have figured out how to capture the essence of an element, which does in fact come from the land. Elements can be taken away or given, but only at the will of the Keepers of the Zailum and Izaldi Pack.
Copy the code AFTER reading "instructions" for each section. I had to clarify a lot as far as appearances. Then create a new thread in which you post with your information.
N A M E : And/or any nicknames
D E S I R E D x P A C K / R A N K : It is up to you to actually try to get into this pack, but just so we have an idea
A G E : A specific age, or you can simply say adult/pup ("teenish" wolfs are put under adult)
E L E M E N T x V I E W : Is your wolf for or against elements? If against put only that. If for, put for, and if you like, the element you'd most like. Keep in mind though, they're still pulled at random, this is also just so we have an idea of your views
P E R S O N A L I T Y : Can be a list of traits, likes, dislikes, or actual sentences describing them
A P P E A R A N C E : Same as above. No odd/unrealistic markings, unless you end up with an element, which you should know is not decided by you. Remember, your wolf so far has been normal. If you wouldn't see it in the wild, you wouldn't see it here. (until their element may change them)
H I S T O R Y : Optional - I am no longer going to allow characters to have been born into and grown up on the lands. It makes it confusing. Only adoptables will have lived here their whole lives.
O T H E R x I N F O : Anything about you as the RPer? Or other small quirks about your wolf?
S A M P L E : Can be a link to another site/post, or made up on the spot using any character of yours. We'd like to see about 200 words, as that's our general aim for each post. As mentioned. In the rules.
